Dont use this service... for anything... ever...

Unless you are driving to a place 10 minutes away, only staying in that place for 10 minutes, and plan your trip 2 weeks ahead of time; you should just take a cab, uber, bicycle, rickshaw, pack mule, or any other form of transportation that is not this rental car service. Seriously, they have hidden fees. They are overpriced and over complicated. Never use them. They will take every cent you have and give nothing but sorrow in return.

Great

I damaged the car and it was very seriously and I also damaged the building. But the zip car told me I just paid a little money and they would pay for car damage and building damage. I was so moved!

Worthless

This app is the biggest waste of coding Ive ever seen. The company wont fix it and routinely wont help. Calling this is like beating your head against the wall. It accomplishes nothing but leaving you with a headache. In all, Zipcar shouldnt exist if their stuff is this bad. At this rate walking to the destination and back seems like a faster option

Awful

Download the app. Register easy right? Not at all. Every username taken? I cant use my real name to register? Weird. Then you finally put your email and pick password and it wont let mw past that. Awful app. First time user. Uber way easier.

As you can tell by the star rating and the rest of the reviews, this app is garbage. Signed up for ZipCar and on the computer it works fine, but you cannot unlock the car with a computer... after account activation and changing password multiple times the app will NOT let you log on. Garbage, please rent from Turo or somewhere else, this is a useless application.

Terrible customer service

Zip car will deny applications with no justification, wont have real people to talk to for customer service, wont respond to customer service emails, and ship cards weeks after they should have. Truly terrible service

One-way trips extremely difficult

Zipcar makes a big deal of allowing one-way trips between DC and Baltimore, yet their app doesnt allow bookings between the cities. Each time I select Baltimore as a destination from DC, the app shouts Woah, cool trip! We havent made it there yet. It would be a cool trip if I could actually book it! The app has not been updated since June. Its difficult to use a service for its intended purpose when the app prevents it. Really poor.

Too many bugs

The more time goes, the more bugs the Zipcar iPhone app has. To the team developing it: did you try to use it? Its full of bugs, unreliable. It make me swear every single time I use it.

Request failed: not found (404)

Thats all I get doesnt let me log in, but when I check on the desktop it lets me. Fix this bug on the app

iOS app no longer works

The latest version of the app continues to give an error message when signing in. Customer Service was of no help. Im now forced to use the mobile web version or a browser on a PC.

Only reason I even try Zipcar is because my fiance swears their deceptive business practices, ridiculous fees, terrible support, horrible branding all over the car, and badly maintained cars are worth tolerating just to save the effort it would take to rent from a real car rental company a whole bug 1x a year when the future in laws come over. The things one does for love, arrrgh... cant wait to use my card as cat litter one day.

Zero stars

The app is horrible. Dont even bother downloading. I have the latest iphone and latest update of the app so its obviously not on my end. I somehow was able to login after half an hour of getting an error message, but after that I couldnt even hit a button in the app without being redirected to the front page where the only option for everything is to sign up/join. If you dont have a laptop with you when trying to use Zipcar, I dont know how youll be able to get by. Zipcar mobile is TRASH.

Worst service ever!

The customer service is awful! Cant even start use it. The customer service make me think this is the worst company that I have ever seen! Wont recommend this company to anyone! It gonna waste time!

Wont even let me sign in anymore

This app used to be okay but now I get an error message whenever I try to log in. As my only way of obtaining a vehicle, this is absolutely unacceptable.

Doesnt display reservations

This app is not useful. Reservations dont even show up in the "My Reservations" tab. Whats the point of having an app if youre not going to fix the bugs?

I would love to give them -5 but I cant. First will made open a account charging you $30 which is not reimburse So if you are not in Los Angeles sacramento or SF you are screw. And thats mean you are paying for a service you wont use after been charge with $25
