Good for the most part
Zipcar has gotten me through a lot of situations that would have been difficult or impossible otherwise. However, its true that the cars dont seem to be maintained very well, and the app experience is hurting lately. Last 2 times Ive made reservations, they simply dont show up on the app, so when I want to quickly verify the address of the parking lot, I have to go to the mobile site now. Youll also see charges trickling in on your credit card for months after your trip (for tolls, etc) - this may not be totally their fault but I havent seen this happen so badly with Enterprise Car Share, for example.
